Unusual Vault? What do I do with this?

So.... What do I do with this? The vault was a new one to me, with some glass walls, 2 hidden doors, and a number of 'distorted spots on the floor' which warp you (automatically) when stepped on. The inner chamber of the vault (pictured) has an odd tile which when moused over (as shown) says 'Arcane Vortex'. Stepping on it generates a message about strange forces wrenching at you, but no damage or other affect appears to be generated.

Also generated this message when a pet stepped on it, changing the name of the subject as appropriate.

It could not be entered like a staircase/entrance/exit, and the orb of many ways would not trigger an effect. Anyone have any idea what this is for? Totally stumped here.

Maybe you need 100% Teleport Resist to enter that vault.

That is a special vault that I put into the I500 addon. In the I.D. it has a part to play in the lichform quest, but elsewhere it's just flavor.

The 'distorted spots' block the direct path, but there were 2 secret doors on the far side, to enter the main room. Thankfully, I did figure that much out, with help from chat.

Well, this explains why I didn't seem to be able to do anything. I even thought about trying to spellcast on it (like the things in the abashed expanse) but was antimagic. Not sure if eelskin was arcane or not, forget to check and bring it back, but apparently, that wouldn't have helped. Thanks for this! At least now I don't feel bad about not figuring it out.
