What do you mean by this? I never use them, so I don't see how this would work.ToxicChicken wrote:You can rest for hundreds of turns with movement infusions.

Re: Insufficient warning for Atamathon
With 2 low cd movement infusions you flee from one edge of the map to the other whenever Atamathon gets close. Sometimes Atamathon loses track of you, so you can rest for as long as you want.
It wasn't very effective against nightmare! atamathon, but that's because its rush has a range of 20 and 0 cooldown.

Well, I just had my first win today with a Thaloren Wilder, so I went on to fight Atamathon and well, to my surprise I had less of a problem with him than I had with Elandar. As already mentioned, Movement Infusions did most of the job along with Lightning Speed as a backup escape tactic. I was however told, that my high arcane resist was one of the biggest factors in this success, since he allegedly 1-hits characters otherwise.
Anyway... my life is complete now.
Oh, and a slight tip, that probably wasn't mentioned yet - if you get out of his sight while he is fighting your summons like Treants from Thaloren racial or Spiders from Mumified Egg-Sac, he won't follow you after he's done with them. Works pretty much with any boss it seems.

Yes, using summons is very effective with him.Marten wrote:Well, I just had my first win today with a Thaloren Wilder, so I went on to fight Atamathon and well, to my surprise I had less of a problem with him than I had with Elandar. I think the eye should be changed to be useful to any character, not just fire users. Seems there are too many overpowered fire artifacts as it is. Some change to +10% all damage instead of +20% fire or just drop the damage and make it a stat boost - whatever. Unfair for it to be much more useful to already-overpowered fire mages than anyone else. Even from theme it is slightly strange that it only buffs fire. Granted, it's a ruby eye, but Ata himself does mostly arcane damage and uses all kinds of other damage types.
