Possibly a Newbie Question: Fareast portal does not work?

I have killed the master, worked my way through reknor, I've got the sealed letter from the messenger, and I am right clicking on the portal to the fareast but there's no "Change Level" option... is there something that I am doing wrong?

Stand on the portal and use the Orb of Many Ways.
