Admittedly it's been a while since I've played this, but when I saw the Conditioning option show up for the Warrior escort I thought aha! This should be fun!
But it's turned out to be a huge letdown, not at all what I thought it was going to be. Maybe I'm remembering something different from way back.
I consoled myself that at least Unflinching Resolve might still turn out to be useful if maxed out. So I tried it. And even with some Constitution pumping I'm still thinking it's a waste.
Anyone have a good side of this skill branch to share, that perhaps I'm missing? I'm pretty tempted to restart to make better use of my generics.
(This is for an archer tank build, so in principle I figured it should be a fit.)
Anyone find Conditioning worth a Cat point?

Re: Anyone find Conditioning worth a Cat point?
Resolve is definitely excellent maxed out and with some con investment. It basically reduces the duration on everything it covers to at-most 2-3 turns once it gets rolling, which can be pretty darn huge in and of itself, especially if you don't have good access to better ways to deal with what it covers. Vitality's not an unimpressive boost if you're running a regen-tank, as well, and not exactly terrible even if you're not.
I've never invested much into the other two, though. Th'fourth tier looks good (for the damage boost if nothing else. It seems like a nice buff.), I've just never really bothered with it. Daunting presence has never wowed me, though I've heard other folks say they get decent use out of it.
Basically, it's not bad. It's not a top-tier cat point investment for me, barring some niche stuff (Undead love resolve, ferex.), but it's far from a waste.

I guess I just haven't had resolve rolling well yet, maybe it's more of a later game benefit. Or the RNG doesn't like me today.
Of course, in late game I usually try to have really high resists to eliminate many of these effects.
How are the effect clears calculated? Is it % chance to have max one effect cleared per turn (of some random type)? Or % chance to have max one effect of each type cleared per turn? Or % chance for each of the individual effects to clear each turn?
I agree the vitality regen isn't bad, although I liked the idea of it being based on a hit above a certain % of health better than dropping past the 50% mark. It comes with a reduction in some status effect durations though too... that makes it more interesting.
I like the idea of the power boost on that last ability too, I thought it might be worth a point for that. The benefit per point after that isn't so good though - and with diminishing returns considered too I probably wouldn't put more than the one point.

Afaik, it's a chance to have a random effect cleared each turn.
