Can't unlock Solipsist

I've killed the wife and entered the dream portal and entered the portal on the rat and killed the mind worm but still can't unlock solipsist, what are you supposed to do?

there doesnt seem to be anything that will kill the rat, I just run to the portal without even needing any abilities, even checked the entire level

is it not unlockable on adventurer mode or something?

alright finally got this, not unlockable on easy/adventurer for anyone else having problems

Please clarify. Are you saying it's not unlockable on easy (very little is unlockable on easy) or that it's not unlockable on adventurer (this would be the first I'd heard of something not unlockable on normal adventurer)?

If it's tied to a cheevo, it wouldn't be unlockable in easier. Most things are unlockable in easier, but there's a few that aren't, namely anything tied to an achievement. Adventurer or roguelike mode (number of lives) has no impact on the unlockables, only the difficulty and then only easier, which, again, prevents unlocks tied to achievements.
