Is it by design that the paradox mage is the onlyt char that cannot get the amour and thickskin tree at the shop in last hope?

You can get thick skin and armor training at the shop, my current paradox mage got them there no problem. Did you perhaps not have enough money?

Eh, don't beat yourself up. The game could satnd to be a little more clear when that's the case. I'm actually not sure if it explicitely says that you don't have enough money - if it does, it seems to be relatively easy to miss...
