Well that was fun! I think I explored pretty much everything I could, other than the infinite dungeon.
Here's the dump - it was so long I had to trim out some of the inventory to make it fit the post character limit. Apologies for the long post... I couldn't figure out how to get the online character vault to work or I'd have just put a link to that.

I died on the top of the mountain trying to stop the lightning storm, against the boss. Overconfidence. I hadn't bothered to optimize my inscription slots, and when I needed to escape I couldn't...

Toughest opponents were both farportal random bosses. One was a giant sand worm of some kind that was an archer. Slow motion saved my life, and there was quite the stream of arrows on the screen! I finally got him only by using items that have that warding shield that has a chance to transfer damage to an enemy. I targeted him repeatedly through a wall and kept hitting myself... whittle whittle until done.

Other tough boss was a fire imp with multiple classes including brawler. But I only ever saw that through a brief glitch, it was constantly invisible/stealthy, maybe both. I had track, but it didn't help for this critter. Double hit out of nowhere each doing over 500 darkness damage. Ouch...

In the late game (at level 50) I managed to get a zero speed sling as a custom item (using the threads of fate cloak). Tried a few times and there it was... what are the odds? I doubt I could repeat that trick. Spent lots of time then trying to get some other good items (and I did), but nothing else comes close to that sling. Unlimited damage against unlimited targets per round. Just don't walk into your own shots! Would have spoiled things if I'd got it earlier, but at that point I was already strong enough that it was a fun change to speed up the end game.

I had a lot of extra points available to spend, that I just never bothered spending. 23 stat points, 1 cat point, 24 class points, and 11 generic. Couldn't decide on anything further that really mattered much, which was pretty disappointing (and that was before the uber sling too). I had planned to go after combat techniques, until I discovered to my dismay that blinding speed doesn't stack with other speed sources. That made the whole tree useless as far I was concerned. Not enough other good/interesting class choices for points.

As for generics, well at the end I was tempted to invest in evasion and try to get my stats up high enough for 100% evade. I'm probably able to get over 90% at this point if I use the cat point and eden's guile has a bonus that could help. That's an extreme end game tactic though... for the most part I think you're much better off getting evade from an item than investing all those points to get it as a skill. I considered a deeper investment into the curse tree to get better items, but I don't think the possible benefits are well suited to ranged attacks. It would be nice if there was an alternate list of benefits for slings and bows that made sense. Might make that interesting to try. I could also put the points in armor.

I was not afraid to use invisibility runes liberally in the early/mid game. I might have used two for the ambush, if I recall right. Weight management was an issue through the game because I collected items that I could trigger without wielding. Staffs mostly - and they weigh a lot! I collected cursed daggers as well, for use with the sentry skill. That helped me survive the room of death by the way.

Final battle done in less than two rounds due to the sling. Would have been less than one round but SOMEBODY was standing between me and one of the targets... :D

A few suggestions that come to mind:
1) Battle cry comes up on items at level 0.2 or so, which makes it useless. Probably just a bug that snuck in.
2) Blinding speed seems a waste the way it is now. I suggest giving it a different speed effect so it stacks. That would make the tree it's in more viable, and items with the effect potentially interesting.
3) Rapid shot is pretty much a useless skill. I have a suggestion to replace it - how about something that improves accuracy/penetration/damage/whatever with just regular shots? Passive skill, does not apply to special shots... just "shoot".
4) I suggest making the evade skill instant. That gives it a more significant advantage versus just using it from an item (which uses a turn).
5) An idea for a new trainable basic skill, could be available same place you can learn "shoot". Quick swap. Allows you to swap your weapons instantly, but there's a cooldown, so you can't just go back and forth at will.

My compliments on an excellent game, it was fun to play through.

You can remove the starting point in Bow Mastery, so you have the extra class point to spend. (Likewise, bow-archers can remove the point in Sling Mastery.)
