Going from Higher to Lich was definitely worth it. I had the Higher regeneration skill, which I leveled to 5 to get a 25 turn cooldown. It was sufficient healing because as a necromancer you barely get hit. The multiple lich bonuses are worth 4 class points. I must admit that after transforming into a Lich I simply took out the 4 points from the skill. However, after level 40 I had all of the skills I wanted and there was absolutely nothing useful to spend points on. So depending on your build you can easily spare 4 points.

You.. can take the class points out of the skill after transforming and gain full benefit? Geez.

You can actually use the class points elsewhere right until having to activate it, use and then redistribute again after transformation.

Also who says Lichform prevents infusions? I don't know about adding NEW ones, never tried, but i could certainly use those i had active.
