So I like to play my talents out before I get too far into the game, so I thought I'd ask as I'm having a hard time deciding with a cornac cursed...
How many generic/class points can you get outside of leveling? So you get 40 generics 60 class points, and through gameplay I know of the 2 generics for arena and the possibility of 2 class/2 generics for alchemy test. Are there more in the east? For reference the farthest I've been is the beginning of spellblaze area (level 30ish).
Not looking for details on how to get them, just if there are more available besides the ones I've mentioned. Thanks!

Re: Generic/class points (spoiler)
There's a consumable artifact that gives an extra generic and class point. And some stats, too
(AND something else - it's a pretty cool art)

Re: Generic/class points (spoiler)
You might want to use this as a general template to help you plan out your characters. I use it all the time [especially as I'm the one who made it] :D
Final Master's Character Guides
Final Master's Guide to the Arena
Edge: Final Master... official Tome 4 (thread) necromancer.

You might want to consider escort rewards as well to some degree (especially if you are playing b34).
Re: Generic/class points (spoiler)
I've tried planning out a whole game before. Didn't really do me much good. I prefer to plan out roughly ten levels at a time, since the game changes so much right around levels 10, 20, and 30. If my build isn't put together by 30, I know I'm probably doing something wrong.
Sorry about all the parentheses (sometimes I like to clarify things).
Re: Generic/class points (spoiler)
Also, think I should mention you can get a fourth category point...(and no, not talking about being a Cornac, but something you do in game).

Since we're in the spoiler subforum anyway - how can you get the 4th cat point?Zonk wrote:Also, think I should mention you can get a fourth category point...(and no, not talking about being a Cornac, but something you do in game).

Post-east Sandworm Lair... don't get eaten though
.

Re: Generic/class points (spoiler)
As Dervis mentions, it's the Sandworm lair backup boss, which drops another eatable artifact.marchewka wrote:Since we're in the spoiler subforum anyway - how can you get the 4th cat point?
Since you want full spoilers: In addition to the category point however, it also randomizes your stats a bit(modifies them by a random value, which is more likely to be positive than negative).

Re: Generic/class points (spoiler)
I'd say its almost always positive, so long as you have maxed your main stats before drinking the potion and have a few levels to shore up any inconvenient decreases. Even if it's a little negative, nothing beats another category point.
