I've been really happy with my temporal warden so far; the one misstep I've taken was investing points in Stop. Pretty much everything I want to use it on seems to be immune; it rarely seems to hit normal enemies, and I don't know that it has ever affected elites or higher. I'm guessing this is due to large stun/freeze resistance, which gets me wondering, why are the two linked? Stun is nice, but it's not a game-ender; freeze, on the other hand, is responsible for more of my deaths and near-deaths than any other status effect, by far. I've learned to hoard any stun/freeze resist gear just so I can take on the Shade, Rantha, and Wrathroot without having to worry about being locked down for the majority of the fight. Stun and freeze are totally different in both their uses and severity; they typically come from entirely different sources, too. If there were more cross-resistance effects, like "Daze/Confuse" or like, I could understand, but apart from a weak "realism" argument I can't see any connection.
I suppose I could also be seeing the effects of physical and spell saves, or my sample size is too small, it's hard to tell. I guess I just really wish my AoE stun ability actually did something.

Sorry about all the parentheses (sometimes I like to clarify things).
