Help please, heavy spoilers btw.

Needing help now I have done the prides.

As this is the spoilers should be ok to put this stuff here.

I've managed to get this char further than any other and quite chuffed about it. Went to the east and ripped everything apart, managed to do all the prides fine and got the four orbs after aerwyn told me where to go. I then did the run you have to do with 600 turns or what not.... before I ran though I saw some gribbly monsters above me, so I went to kill them and shattering impacts hit all the sun paladins around aswell killing several of them in a swing, instantly after that they all hated me, now I have been back to Gates of Morning, everyone hates me, Aeryn full frontal charged me, so I killed all the townfolk. On the quests it tells me I should go and speak to her and tell her the good news of all the prides being dead, although I dont think her dead corpse appreciates it all that much.

Someone suggested I went to the bottom floor of the Grushnak prides, I have been there and found the big ol' sealed door to the right but no way of getting in. Been reading the lore to see if there is anything I can work out but Im a little stumped. Have I screwed the game up and unable to go any further now, or does anyone have any ideas? Annoyed with myself that I managed to get so far (furthest yet) and screwed up on a technicality.

Any help would be appreciated, thanks very much. I think I have cleared everywhere I can now. Oh and the dude that allows you to teleport back to the west also won't let me in his shop so think I am screwed there too.

If you have the 4 orbs (that you got from the prides) there is a way in.

Check in the tunnel leading to the big gates. There should be some altars to put the orbs on...

As he said, if Aeryn turned hostile and you killed her before completing the Pride quest, the entrance to the slimy tunnels is locked and there's no way you can complete the game... Maybe that should be considered as a bug...

Yeah but once you get the prides on the map you dont need aeryn (but I'll fix ti anyway)

Its not that much of an issue I know next time round what I have to do, was just really confused. Also Aerwyn comes back for the last fight hating me, which made it a little tougher. Managed to finally make a winner though, doing the guardians in the west however, is there not on in SWL or the maze? Haven't managed to find one.

Oh and the other issue I think with having the sun paladins hating you is the unlock you get for finishing the prides and talking to aerwyn, I can't play that class til I have another run through

SWL definitely has one. Maze is supposed to, but it either doesn't get generated correctly, or is too hard to find, or something... I know there have been bug reports on it.

SWL backup guardian drops one of the best boss rewards in the game.
