Class Spoilers

#1 Post by lukep »

I decided to take a break from working on the talents, which you can see here, and ended up making spoilers for all of the classes and posting them on the wiki. you can check it out at this link. I included all of the birth stats, starting equipment and talents, and which talent trees each class has, at what mastery, and if it is unlocked. All of the pages are linked to each other, as well as to the older pages of tips for them. I also updated the older pages to link to the spoilers for their class. I didn't put which betas the pages are current to, it is betas 21-25. Also, it's a wiki, so if you find any mistakes, fix them.

Ah, good... I was worried when I saw "tome4-fighter" go up when I'd already written "fighter", but now that you've cross-linked both paths, I think it's a good thing.

The "older pages of tips" aren't all old... I wrote some of them fairly recently.

Perhaps "existing" would have been a better wording, but you must admit that they are older than the two days the spoilers have been up for. Also, the two sets of pages are not meant to serve the same purpose, and should coexist well. The "tome4-classes-fighter" page is meant to be a mechanical spoiler, while the "fighter" page is more focused on advice for the class in general. The advice pages are much more valuable (IMO) than the spoilers, because anyone can find out pretty much all of the information from the spoiler just by starting a character of that class, whereas good advice requires hours of expertise in the class to form.
