psi crit rate?

I just got an enormous crit with a spiked aura. It was fantastic. How do I make that happen more often? I would assume spell crit, since it said "spell looks more powerful" in the log, but it's NOT technically a spell, and if you need the spell crit stat, that means you can't get a really good psi crit rate on antimagic characters.

(hmm...does that mean Doomed have the same problem under the new antimagic system. Maaan... )

Some of the psi stuff does work off spell crit. Though we probably should get a mindcrit function set up for psi stuff to go along with mindpower and have it run off that instead (which would still mean your crit rates would suffer, especially with the lack of mindpower or mindcrit boosting gear).

Is Mindpower mostly on arcane gear? If Psionics is nonmagical, shouldn't it have nonmagical egos associated with it?

Well, for now I guess I'll skip the Antimagic so i can (eventually) have two mystic weapons of ruin and a slime-covered (or icy) weapon of ruin, and some armor of Toknor. And as much spell crit as i can get my hands on.
