End-Game Goofs!

Ok, so it's my first time going through to the East, and attempting to win the game.

Got a level 50 Temporal Warden, specalizing in daggers, physical improvements, and fixing my own time meddling.

Doing pretty well so far, nothing gave a ton of trouble (Although I used blood of life and ring of death doing the jewlers quest - for dying twice to drowning in the poisoned lake) yeah yeah, I shoulda paid better attention to my suffocation meter.

Anyways, Went through orc lair, slime tunnel, and opened the door to high peak.
Thanks to the burning star, I found 15 stairs to high peak (15)

Of course Aeryn was there since I messed up charred scar.
-Note about charred scar: I had no idea I needed to run through the looooong path, so I stayed and fought with the paladins for some 550+ turns. After the time ran out, I was like 'nice we held them back with no big problems' - matter of fact, the orc tide was ridiculously easy, kinda gave me a sinking feeling in my stomach. Sure enough, I missed the idea completely and realized I needed to go through that long long hallway... (groan)

So Oh well, I defeated Aeryn, and spared her life cause I screwed up in the first place, right?

So after, I see this (&) symbol on the ground "Portal that leads to the next area"... and think 'score' I can progress further!

Looking in my inv, I see "Demonic orb of many ways" (Yes, I did the whole east meets west thing) so I figure to give that a shot see if it sends me further into HP.

ZIP! I'm now back in Draebors zone.

Hm.... Go to where I killed him and take the tele out of there.

In the west again.

So yah, I did some screwing up, but honestly there was little for me to go on, so I just tried some stuff to see if it was the right thing to do. I guess I should have explored floor 15 some more to find out if I needed to activate that (&) thing, and now I know not to use the demonic orb anymore.

But still... I thought we werent supposed to be able to exit HP? (Hearing random chats in game)

Anyway, now I got to make a pretty hefty treck back to where I was. But I will perservere!

Using the demonic orb will always teleport you to that same place. You have to use the normal one. If you cont have the normal orb of many ways... then you better get it back. Try talking to the guy in the west that gave you the demonic orb.

Oh I had it. Just silly me didnt realize the demonic orb sent me the wrong way. I mistakedly thought it was the correct thing to use here.
