The gift of anti-magic doth not come easy. Level 11 is really too low - you obviously made a character purely for this quest and rushed it too much. However the multiple enemies when resurrecting is a bug, and should be fixed in future releases I imagine.

Dreads are a painful one; orc corruptors are also common. You need a lot of regen and healing to survive. Any source of guaranteed hits (e.g., Perfect Strike) is also really important for dreads.

I've done it at level 11 before, but 13-15 is much more reasonable. Obviously it's going to depend on your class.

The dread has really high defense, so it's hard to hit. You can do damage through retaliation (icy skin is awesome; also various shields, armor, etc. may do damage to things that hit you). A Cursed can damage it with Life Leech (or whatever that level 12 passive is called). Bring regen/healing infusions and use them. Dance around a rock, healing much faster than the monster can. You can hit it 5% of the time, or thereabouts, no matter how clumsy you are. That should be enough to get in the coup de grace, if you have a way to wear it down.

A Fighter can use the +100 Attack talent (Precise Strikes? something like that) to guarantee a hit. A few of those will do it.

The orc corruptor at the end is a much more dangerous opponent. He'll throw a Curse of Vulnerability on you; use a Wild infusion to remove that if you can. Blight resistance will help, but isn't absolutely required, if you have good HP and healing. If he's got orbiting white blobs, that's a bone shield, and it'll totally absorb a few attacks. So don't use your big attacks up front. Use little attacks (multiple weak blows in a single round, like the Cursed's Frenzy, will knock out several of the blobs). Once the bone shield is gone, then you can use the big guns.

Healing/Regeneration infusions are absolutely essential here. Bring good ones.

Rogues have several talents that perform multiple independent to-hit rolls (dual strike, flurry, etc.). Since each attack gets a separate roll, your odds of actually getting at least one of them to hit go up. But you'll still need either extraordinary patience, or some means of wearing it down consistently (retaliation equipment).

I can confirm that the bug is always present in beta 19 : if you have an opponent left in the arena, lose a life and get back to the arena, the last opponent stay here, and you have to face then 2 opponents then instead of 1 as the previous one you defeated are respawned.

As a big fan of antimagic (especially with rogues)... It depends on how you build them, but level 11 is not advisable, level 12 is MUCH better, as you gain access to some of the higher level abilities (though none of them helps a lot), but just in general having more skills in your repertoire helps. You've not got to the corrupter yet, the dreads etc. are easy compared.

1st off... I do level one of Trollmire, and then head to the quest. (Should have 80-90% of XP for lvl 2)
Then I go to the maze. Daggers tend to drop there, and no pesky escort quests. You can quickly get some steel daggers, possibly even dwarven-steel (of daylight if you can!). Typically I don't go much deeper than lvl 2 in the maze initially, because the traps can be a real killer. Minotaurs are pretty dangerous, but stun them first (dual-strike/dirty fighting), steel only really start appearing once you hit lvl 8.

Once you have lvl 8+, you could possibly take on the minotaur (decide for yourself), but I like to hang about in the wilderness hoping for the lost merchant quest. There are only rogues, and some decent daggers are almost a certainty. Also killing the boss gives a decent amount of XP, for not too much trouble. Then I go in the maze for minotaur, and after that for the antimagic quest at around lvl 14 or so.

SIDE NOTE: Rogues and assassins never bother anyone... they could be improved a bit. They should be in the scariness of warriors (almost), but they don't use dual-strike (maybe cause they never have 2 knifes?) or dirty fighting, nor disengage, and I am not even sure of shadowstrike (they seem to favour the stealth tree a lot!).
