[Planning Phase] Yet Another Te4 module

I have been playing some roguelikes frequently: Dungeon Crawl Stone Soup,(Google it and play it at least once if you haven't yet) ToME and Adom. So naturally I might be stealing some ideas from them.

Something like story:
Depending on your race the story should be a bit different, but anyway

The town of "Rubrum Astrum" (this is just some random stuff, Red and Star in Latin) has stood many centuries under the Tree of Life, that grows over the Grave of Divines, the world that used exist before this one. Under the Tree of Life in the Grave of Divines, there are numerous dungeons and caves, inhabited by different creatures. Undead, dwarfs, elven people, orcs, trolls, goblins, kobolds, forest creatures of many kinds, etc. The closer you get into the core of the Grave of Divines the more ruins of the old world you will see. As the time passes, many heroes and villains have ventured to core of the Grave of Divines returning with wealth, immortality and powers beyond normal human's strength. Now it's your time venture to the very core of Grave of Divines and claim power's beyond your imagination.

And here are some ideas that I have now:
  • Surface level for a town
    Many dungeon branches and planes to visit
    Objective would be finding an artifact or something and returning to your starting town.
    Different starting areas for races
    Some race only classes
    Boss monsters
    Subraces
    Advanced Classes (Maybe.. Something like choosing a class and then advancing to another class) (Warrior -> Berserker, Warrior -> Knight or something?) Some ideas on this maybe?
    Racial specialties: like different ways of eating (Vampires drinking blood from corpses, Carnivore and herbivore races)
    Crafting
Races (not subraces)
  • Human
    Undead
    Animal
    Dwarf
    Elf
    Monster
    Demon
    Divine
Basically I'm aiming for something like Dungeon Crawl in it's complexity of story. " Get down to dungeons, explore, kill lots of stuff and get the artifact or kill a monster"

And I'm also gathering some ideas to refine this to a module. Feel free to comment on my ideas and share your own and thanks for reading this and ignoring my bad grammar.
