Make pathfinding ignore font of life, etc.

#1 Post by Effigy »

Currently, the autoexplore pathfinding will stop on things like "font of life" and similar ground features because they're "interesting terrain." I have never once cared about these things for the purposes of autoexploring in nearly a decade of playing the game. I suggest just making pathfinding ignore them.

I'd likely make it similar to treasure chests; you get a note of their existence if you run into them but ignore them the rest of the time. Likely another idea would be to make the effects of them more noticeable - I've only really ever noticed these myself at the lower character levels.
Its amazing what the mind can come up with, but it shows talent to make something of it. - Davion Fuxa
