Greatly increase Dispersal glove ego drop rate

Title says it all. A simple tier 1 dispersal glove can be the difference between winning and losing and that being left to RNG is very lame. This is the only item I've considered vaulting aside from Telos staff parts because they are such rare drops and so essential for many classes. Something like 3-5 times the drop rate for this ego should solve this problem.

Edit: My level 50 Doomed just found one for the first time after farming seven Zigur patrols looking specifically for Dispersion gloves. Seems a bit too rare haha.

agreed, it's stupid how many sustains you really need to remove with this or die (fearscape, bone shield and essence of speed being the first that come to mind) and the fact that you basically never find them outside of the initial shops

imo, add an adventurer's essentials shop to the game where it always spawns with at least one pair and other types of gear/inscriptions considered essential.

Maybe make it force spawn spellhunt remnants in said shop as well if your character is AM, after the first restock if they aren't already in the game.

Adventurer's Essentials shop would be cool, but I can't think of anything that would be "essential" aside from Dispersal glove/Spellhunt Remains and maybe Silence torque. Force spawning Dispersal gloves after Dreadfell in the randart merchant shop could be a slightly clunky but very helpful improvement.

I wonder if there shouldn't be a wand/rune/torque of dispersion added with a fairly common spawn rate or the like.

That would make a neat artifact Rune, maybe as a reward for the Urkis quest to parallel the Fungus reward for Antimagic characters. Something like 3 effects removed, sustains prioritized, 15 cooldown would be reasonable. Dunno if it should work on all effects or just magical ones, since magical effects are the ones you really want to remove, other than those it's pretty much just Call Shadows and Mitosis.

There's already that taint the Withering thing uses that does that. Altough it might be far too OP to give to the player :p

I actually considered an addon for this very thing; having the assassin lord offer the player an item or two with valuable egos as 'hush money'. A choice between early game aid via assassin lord or late game aid via urthol.
Choosing between the rune of stripping and urthol's randarts would be a tough choice for a lot of people, I think!

That's actually a cool idea, too; evil choices as the only source of taints. Help assassin lord, permit melinda's sacrifice (or kill her), betray slasul & ukllmswwik...any others?

I'd think it would only be an issue if it is needed to clear the game and any character might be excluded from getting it for any reason.

Or let the Assassin Lord give you access to a store (fence, or somebody stealing on demand) that for a few thousand gold sell you a salmon item but with one choosable ego. So you get a guaranteed Dispersion or Quickening, but it might be only tier 1.
