On gloves/gauntlets at the very least. If spreading poison on a pebble can infect things it hits, smearing it on gloves/gauntlets makes at least as much sense. Logically, we could say that being unarmed with nothing would mean we very carefully spread poison on our tough calloused hands, making sure we had no open cuts, and then beat the tar out of folks to spread the poison to cuts and abrasions our blows would make, so working with unarmed and no gloves/gauntlets might be nice too, though a more questionable part.
Besides, I want to punch people with poison.
Again, mentioned this yesterday, just making it official.
Allow poisons to apply to unarmed combat damage.

From a game balance perspective, this wouldn't be broken, and it would allow some interesting Cunning synergy.
From an in-game logic perspective, if unarmed attacks can cause Bleed damage, then they should likewise be able to inflict poison damage.
So basically: seconded.
