Interesting suggestion. Not sure what I think. If I am crazy enough to try ghoul solipsist, i don't get thought-forms, so I havent encountered this.

Thought forms don't share the type or subtype of their summoner, they just look like them and use the thought-form subtype (they're a mental manifestation).

I'm not saying that couldn't change. But if it did change it should just be set up so the type matches the summoners across the board (so dragon thought forms would be dragons, demons would be demons, etc. etc.)
