multiple attacks bound to one keystroke

#1 Post by jenx »

can you bind say three talents to one keystroke, and then they fire in the order they are on the talent bar, which ever is free first?

if not, could this be programmed in as an option?

Seems kinda low for a payoff, plus players really ought to be more careful with their usage of talents! If you need more space for talents don't forget you can extend the talent bar :D

I was thinking of making something similar for my current archer, but I'm not sure how user-friendly it could be. Basically it would be a separate talent (with instant use time, 0 cooldown) that would activate other talents using a bunch of "if" statements. I probably wouldn't use it against tough bosses or large mobs, but automating choosing between steady shot, relaxed shot, shoot, and double shot would be quite handy against weaker enemies.
Some of my tools for helping make talents:

Just saying I'd like it if it were fairly not-troublesome to implement. There's quite a few classes I wouldn't mind having a sort of "default attack button" that cycles through a few talents. Archmagi (beam rotation), archers (dual arrow, at least), sun paladins (searing light + that fire beam), etc., so forth, so on. It'd be nice, yeah.
