Improved Trapping (addon, possibly game idea)

Rogue trapping is a fun idea. The problem is that traps are weak, they take too long to place, and require investment that can be better spent in other skills. Here are some ideas to make the talents in the trap tree more fun:

1. Have aoe traps that can potentially harm the player do reduced damage to the player. After all, since the player built the trap, he should know how to evade it.
2. Have the catapult trap do physical damage if the target collides with something.
3. Traps take too long to place. Glyphs were fixed by making them instant, I suggest making traps take a fraction of a turn to place, or even making them instant. Traps already require quite a bit of stamina.
4. Placing lure on a trap will trigger the trap. Placing lure on a monster standing on a trap will not cause the lure to appear, but will immediately trigger the trap the monster is standing on.
5. An interesting ability with lure could be a rehash of the classic ninja "replace myself with a log trick". The rogue targets the lure on himself, then when he moves stealth will automatically activate and a lure will appear. But monsters won't know its a lure, and still target it like the original. Should be unlockable at higher levels.
6. Sticky smoke could also lower stealth detection and see invisible.
7. All the talents in the traps tree could potentially add a boost to the power of traps.
8. More trap perks! For instance, the bear trap could count as a hit for the purpose of applying poison.
