Im talking about the "Unknown tunnels" and the "dark crypt".
Having only one chance to either do em or not is a design flaw imho.
See, i may be an OCD/completionist type of player but i can imagine im not alone with this.
Atm, the fact that you will trigger them only once has a large effect on the game.
I usually dont move around on the map till i feel confident enough to take the tunnels, and once i hit lv24 it starts off again.
And avoiding the crypt is real hard.
I have yet to complete the crypt because my chars were not up to deal with it when it triggers.
This kinda sucks in the grand scheme of things, because if youre not up to it, you cant ever trigger em again and will miss out on valauble xp and drops.
The xp is especially valauble for Xp penatly chars.
And to be honest, the tunnels are not that bad if you know about em. But the crypt is really dangerous and most lv 24´s will have no real chance of beating them.
Why not leave a portal marker where you triggered em, so you can actually come back to it?

Re: Change the randomly found dungeons
The worst case is when you travel in the little north-south passageway in the middle of the map, just east of Derth, where hermit sometimes spawns, as the assassin quest can appear here when you don't want it to. I avoid this passage way until I want assassin quest.
MADNESS rocks
Re: Change the randomly found dungeons
The Tunnels are pretty important and triggering them to early can really suck, thankfully when this happens its usually so early that you don't lose much by trying anyway.
The Dark Crypt is meant to be done at level 24 but it's not meant to be done every play through. It's an opt in encounter for people that feel their character is up to the challenge when it pops up. If you don't feel up to the task then walk away from it. The encounter has very little reward for a very high risk because the challenge itself is the reward of this encounter. In other words, it's basically an achievement, it's supposed to be hard and letting the player come back at level 50 would defeat the purpose.

Yeah, I think you need to swallow your pride and your OCDness. The game isn't meant to be 100% completed by every character (as is evident from other challenging but optional scenarios).
I've beaten the assassin lord's tunnels at level 2 before, by the way. Though that was before the assassin lord got buffed...
