While I was having fun shattering stoned elves, I came up with the following:
Accomplishment: Stonecarver (or Old Shatterhand)
- shatter 1000 creatures (over the course of multiple games)
getting this accomplishment would unlock the following tree for Alchemists, and perhaps Archmages, Arcane Blades (and dwarves) as well:
Spell: Stonecrafting
Uses mana as rescource, uses Magic. High tier tree, need char level 10
1) Gargoyle (Summon)
- summons an immobile statue of a gargoyle at targeted location
- the gargoyle breathes a beam of water at foes within range 2/2/3/3/4/4, doing physical damage and knocking creatures back for 2 tiles.
- lasts 2/3/4/5/6/7 turns
- has lots of hitpoints, high physical, fire, lightning resists
- damage scales with Spellpower
2) Statue of the Fallen (Hex, Summon)
- when a creature under the influence of this spell dies, a friendly statue of said creature is summoned.
- said creature is immobile
- it has high fire and lightning resists, and decent physical resists
- it has the same level, stats, hitpoints and rescource bars as the fallen creature
- it has 3/3/4/4/5/5 talents, randomly picked from the talents available to it's original
- summon lasts 2/3/4/5/6/7 turns
- hex duration and resists scale with Spellpower
3) Pose (sustain, 100 (?) mana)
- You magically pose as a statue, gaining fire, lightning and physical resists
- you cannot move while this spell is sustained
- you are immune to knockback and pinning
- projectile and beam spells have a chance to bounce off you, back to their caster
- resistances and chance to deflect spells increase with Spellpower
- at spell level 5, friendly statues gain a chance to deflect spells as well, albeit a lower chance than yours. Scales with Spellpower
4) Statue Garden (AOE, self-centered, just like the Anorithil's Circles)
- friendly statues within the AOE will gain the Stone Touch talent at level 1/2/3/4/5/6
- increases duration of Gargoyle, and Statue of the Fallen summons. Scales with Spellpower. Duration increase lingers after Statue Garden ends, if summons outlast the spell
- at spell level 3, friendly statues can move, at 50% movement speed
- lasts 4/4/5/5/6/6 turns
- Circle radius scales with spellpower

Ignoring possible balance issues:
-The skills don't work every well with each other as stone touch gives high physical resistance and Gargoyles ( + half of the converted enemy statues ) cause physical damage.
-Pose sounds a lot like the skill that is already available for mages ( Stoneform I think ), apart from reflection.
