Wyrmics should be shapeshifters
I deliberately haven't looked to see what other classes there are, so if this idea is redundant with something else, then never mind. I just unlocked wyrmics, and they look like berserkers with dragon breath. They should be shapeshifters. You should get the ability to transform into stronger and stronger dragons as you level up, with different abilities to unlock for each form. This would fit the idea a bit better and be much, much cooler. As it stands, I don't think anyone plays them, because they are never mentioned in the IRC channel.

I just started up a wyrmic character. You're right, they play like weak berserkers with lots of "elemental" attacks to soften up enemies, and eventually they can get the big heavy hitting dragon breath attacks. They're not quite as easy to start up as a regular berserker but once they get some of the dragon schools going they're a lot of fun.

They are not shapeshifters, it just is not part of their core design/idea.
They are normal humanoids that imbue themselves with nature to gain draconic *traits*, not shape.

Right. I'm saying they should be, because they look too similar to berserkers at the moment.

Berserkers? Not so much. Unlock the sword+shield tree, max out ice armor ASAP, max out all four breath weapons, and grab antimagic for the equilibrium restoration (...or if you don't like antimagic, figure out how to use swallow properly.) At the end of the game, they're basically a class based on their four close blast powers, with melee backup. Sure, you can play them as gimped berserkers, but that's not at all what they *are*.

Right now, they are really either berserkers or fighters with breathe weapons ... and ya. Now - if they had combat options OTHER than those, such as removing the weapon trees and making non-weapon dependent talents trees, or weaponless[!] talent trees, that would definitively swing them more into a unique class.
