"Stalactitic Missiles" is a really awkward name. Not only that, but it doesn't make sense when you're outdoors. Stalactites are rock spears that hang from a ceiling. Propose renaming the spell to "Shards", "Rock Shards", or the like.
The "Body of Stone" description mentions a Sense radius in the final sentence, but the spell has nothing to do with Sensing monsters.

Re: Geomancers
Stalactitic is pure awesome to say out loud and it means like a stalactite, in this instance it meant stalactite shaped rather then falling from the ceiling, hence the spell description.
Anyway it is cumbersome to type and isn't recognized as a word by firefox so I support changing it for the sake of it not being dubbed 'that missile spell' because no one wants to try to spell stalactitic.

Re: Geomancers
Why not make it Stalagmites? They grow up from the Ground (Easy to remember StalaGmites form the Ground stalaCtites from the Ceiling) and the geomancer can simply direct one to erupt beneath the targets feet, which is more in keeping with the earth element than throwing it through the air. it would also enable it to ignore those pesky LOS issues where you can see a foe but a missile can't reach the bugger and affect any creature in sight.
Re: Geomancers
Well, if they erupted from the ground, the spell would work entirely different than it does now. Not that that's a bad idea. Just sayin'.
(Right now, they are truly missiles, traveling on a path from the spellcaster to the designated target, and they travel at finite speed just like arrows. Monsters can dodge them, or dodge into them, etc.)
