That could (possibly) be accomplished as easily as making Fatigue hurt more. I don't know if this would solve everything or even anything, but it'd be a good first step.

Maybe make Fatigue affect Healing Mod, or damage, or some other stats?

Also would make I Can Carry The World a better choice, though it's not half bad already.
I'm not crying. I'm offering a sacrifice to DarkGod in hopes he'll show favor to me.

It hasn't worked yet.

I'd be all for more dynamic class resources, so I like that suggestion a lot. Although that could be a significant nerf to stamina-reliant classes so it would need to be implemented carefully.

Unless it's a unique or randart with some crazy effects, light armor is mostly a non-factor. Defense is weak on it's own and light armor doesn't give much of it, it doesn't give much armor (which makes sense), and it doesn't give any extra resistances.

I don't know if robes need to be separated from light armor, but something needs to be done to make armor selection not be so binary. As it is, nobody who can wear massive armor without being heavily punished is going to choose to wear light (or heavy)armor.
One thing I tried to do with the new 1.2 light armor egos (volcanic, miasmic, etc.) is make them much better at adding damage on offense than retaliating on defense. So they'd be a much better match for someone who uses Flurry than someone who uses Block.

Also, these light armor egos add damage to archery attacks, so for missile-using classes they ought to be a clear win.
Check out my addons: Nullpack (classes), Null Tweaks (items & talents), and New Gems fork.
