Re: Talent icons
There's a second jumpgate? Hrm, will have to do that one later (will just do a navy version of the first two jumpgate icons). I think the file I gave before will have to be renamed to "jumpgate__teleport_to.png".
Also the list is missing automatic stealth.
Why all the monster abilities?

Re: Talent icons
Automatic stealth doesnt exist anymore, any talent can be autocast.
NPC skills because it's possible to learn some of them and later I might add more ways to use them; obviously it's lower priority

Re: Talent icons
And another bunch of icons...
Gallery: https://www.dropbox.com/gallery/1664870 ... s?h=6ad663
Archive: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/1664870/Combat% ... 0Icons.zip
Edit: updated some of the icons.
+ Changed Rush.
+ Changed Combat Accuracy (weapon_combat): removed a shattered skull (which tried to symbolize an accurate strike) by an image of three blades.
+ Changed Spell Shield: it is now a shield with a purple sign on it, which symbolizes magic.

Re: Talent icons
Heh, I would have thought you'd use the whipped man for Domination Hex...
I worry a little that Blood Boil looks the same as the Bloodbath icon already done. Perhaps it should be recoloured a little, maybe with a gradient red to black going up/down?

Re: Talent icons
Wow, this is exactly the sort of thing I imagined people doing with my icons, and the reason I left them black and white.
It's very cool seeing people interpreting some icons other than I intended; giving them creative new (but appropriate) names or colourings. It's an odd thrill, seeing images I'm so familiar with being made new to me. Some of the icons I was worried that they were too obscure, or they just didn't look like what they were meant to. I was glad to see that a few of those picked up and used as intended.
Here's a tip for colouring: In Photoshop (or programs with similar tools) make the icon a layer set to "multiply" in the options, then that effectively makes the whites transparent, even down to the anti-aliasing. Then you paint the colour (or paste a texture) on a layer underneath it without any white pixels at the edges.
You've got a nice style going on, but if you want a little more variety for not much effort, consider a coloured tint around the edge of the icons.

In summary: Woot.

Re: Talent icons
Oh the creator himself
I was looking at registering on reddit to thank you but you found us first!
Yeah your icons are really nice and helpfull.
Oh and I was wondering there is not many undead'y stuff in the set, maybe you could add some more, bones, roting flesh and such.
(and maybe someday I'll come back and ask for more tech ones when I add the related classes
)

Re: Talent icons
I dropped a note on reddit earlier today since I wasn't sure if you had yet, DarkGod. Good to see you approve of our perversions of your tiles, Lorc ;)
Re: Talent icons
Here's the age manipulation tree and a couple of previews for those that don't want to download the zip. I used yellow as the dominant color. Hopefully they look alright.

Re: Talent icons
Mostly just bumping this thread but I managed to do four or so more chronomancy trees last night. They're marked on the shared document.
I'll post them once I get a few more done.
