Possibly too late since it's already been implemented, but here's a thought: What about characters that are GOING to be undead, i.e. necromancers?

You have a choice if you want the corrupted version.
DarkGod has implemented the 'take the heart to an altar in the Mark of the Spellblaze to corrupt it' version.
