I think Grushnak should be more militarized, like the Rhaloren Camp suggestions. Barracks, armories, guard posts with all the assorted doodads. I think training areas would be a nice touch as well, have some dirt 'arenas' with training dummies, archery targets and the like. And their weapons have to come from somewhere, so perhaps a forge/smithy with anvils, ingots and the like.
Gorbat could do with lairs and stables. The dragons have to be housed somewhere, so having areas that are clearly stables/nests/lairs (there's quite alot of artistic discretion as to what a militarized dragon lair would look like).
Rak'Shor is pretty good since the bone changes. In terms of cosmetic stuff, some 'dark magic' areas would be nice, e.g. evil experimenting rooms and so on. Maybe some pits full of 'raw materials' that spawn a large number of undead.
Vor has alot of potential. Libraries are an obvious one, and basically anything traditionally 'wizardy'. Alchemy labs, ritual areas, bound elementals, all sorts of weird and wonderful arcane stuff.
In general all prides should get some of the stuff mentioned in Grushnak, as after all they're military areas where orcs live and train. Not so much the forges, armories and training areas, but all of them should have some sort of living areas. You could give some personality to the prides too, e.g. being fancy mages Vor could have fairly elaborate decorations, luxurious (by orc standards) chairs and tables and art (with a military bent of course, seeing as most original orc culture is lost). Grushnak would be very rigid and spartan, so the sort of stuff real militaries have: bunks, mess rooms etc. Gorbat would have outside areas due to their natural connection, so meeting round campfires and the like. Rak'Shor is probably the weirdest of the lot and wouldn't really do stuff like that though.

Worry about the other two.![]()
Having said that, the time seams right to implement an old idea, so I'm open for suggestions for the banners of the 4 prides.

I just think Grushnak is already pretty visually distinct. Feel free to make it even more so, though

Re: Details & Doodads
We decided with darkgod to start with a more ruined dungeon tileset and here is the first wip:

Where do you think it fits best? (I'm not telling my gut feeling in this matter intentionally)

Halfling Ruins
My feedback meter decays into coding. Give me feedback and I make mods.
Re: Details & Doodads
A ruined dungeon tileset? The clue is in the name I'd say! Or maybe even the first floor of halfling ruins, those tiles would look quite nice if combined with the earlier suggestion of some mountain and water terrain.
Re: Details & Doodads
Yeah, gonna go with halfling ruins next to mountains/water

Heh, I kinda forgot about them. Was thinking the Ruined dungeon, although my intention was to make something for Kor'Pul actually, but it's not Kor'Pulian at allHousePet wrote:Halfling Ruins

That was not terribly subtle yeah...Razakai wrote:A ruined dungeon tileset? The clue is in the name I'd say!
