Hey, Goblinz, if you're struggling for creativity or if you aren't the best at poetic turns of phrase in English, you might want to look at D&D / other RPG books, both old and new, for ideas for your ability names. A lot of the spells and abilities will be somewhat 'iconic' and not worth copying, but you'll be able to mix and match or rejuvenate the names of some of the more obscure, forgotten published abilities.
Also, early D&D rangers didn't necessarily dual-wield. I liked the ranger with the longbow and a bigass greatsword, myself.
Your Beast Mastery tree sounds like a lot of fun, but if you're downplaying dual-wielding then it needs to be asked... Will you be able to shoot through your pet (similar to the alchemist who makes his golem immune to bombs) or will careful positioning be more of a factor?

IMHO TOME would benefit from adding spears to weapon pool. And throw talent, to distinguish it from other weapon, weapon master in Last Hope could teach it too. Trident already in the game, anyway.

I was thinking that in an ipothetic extra survival tree would be cool also something like flying, but effective only over mountains & trees. I would call it climb. Perhaps as a duration power. If you stay stuck in the middle of mountains you'll have to wait that it recharges. But it could be a thing that the IA manages poorly. For example I think that bosses stops when you are unreachable, even if they are over traps. And they may die for it, it happened to me once (I randomly teleported in an unreachable area). It would be useless in dungeons however.
