I havent got to end game yet, farthest ive gotten is I had defeated The Master.
But I feel that all of those boss encounters difficulty is kind of skewed. If you have a means of stun/freeze they are all pushovers. If you Dont they are quite hard since they hit for insane damage. I think bosses need to have higher resists/immunites to those types of effects, but also reduce the damage they do. I loose more characters to elites (especially dreadmasters..) than I do to bosses.
The master is close to what I would like to see but he still hits a bit hard and can still be stunned / frozen. Bill, Shade, worm queen, wrathroot, the wyrm, minotaur king, once you get them disabled they die in a few rounds. Reducing their damage but making them immune/highly resistant to those effects will extend the fights and make them feel more "boss" like. Healing will become more important, as will tactically choosing which talents to use and when to use them.
Re-visit boss encounter difficulty.

Later bosses are resistant or immune to stun...just that you need to go to Far East first...
But I think it's true...I think some later monster mobs are way deadlier than bosses...

Why can't TOME 4 has a secret room where you can represent game bugs as, well, enemies you can crush like in Divine Divinity? That would be cool...
