Inventory: How about a Backpack and a Pouch?

#1 Post by Bladyn »

I am starting to get quite a lot of Gems, Infusions, and Runes in my Inventory. Perhaps if this was not my first time through I would know these are just immediate sale items and not to bother keeping them. For now however, I am. :)

It woudl be nice to have a separate Inventory area for these types of things. Perhaps split the inventory in to two parts?

The "Pouch" would hold all small items, say up to .1 or .2 Enc? The "Backpack" would hold all larger items.

Cheers...

So really two separate tabbed pages in the inventory.

I have suggested this before...

It has been suggested and discussed before that there would be a 'weapons' tab, 'kit tab', 'consumables tab' and 'other tab' - however with so much of the clutter and hoarding issue gone due to no more potions/scrolls, perhaps - if anything - a separate 'tab' or something just for armor from weapons - this might solve some hoarders' issues - but it'll probably be an issue for some as they'll need to navigate a second inventory window.

I don't know, I think it's fine as it is though.

Well I would beg to differ, since you have replaced one set of clutter (potions, scrolls, etc) with another set (runes, infusions)

So I still think this is an issue! Albeit not as bad as previous!

Personally, I'd just like to have a house (or equivalent thereof) that didn't require me to repurpose a vault. Basically, my inventory gets split into "things I intend to eventually use later" and "things I'm just planning to sell". Lugging around the former is moderately annoying. Remembering which things I've earmarked for keeping and not selling them every time I hit the town can also get to be annoying. If I had some place to ditch the gems until I needed them, I wouldn't *have* them cluttering up my inventory.

Yes, yes, I *could* use a vault - but that always seemed a bit cheesy to me, and it's a pain to remember where you left things for each character and/or think to go back for them. I don't mind questing and/or paying for my storage space (or even losing access to it for a while for heading east) but it sure would be nice to have.

Repurposing a Vault does not sound so bad to me. Being a new player though my question woudl be how to know which Vaults are persistent? It woudl be quite frustrating to dump stuff in the wrong place.

Vaults as in the rooms that before you can open the door you are asked if you are really sure you want to.
