Just a quick suggestion. I'd like to have an intermediate Easy Mode, where the difficulty (i.e. damage dealt/received) is the same as Normal Mode, but the extra lives are still available. It was really nice to take a character all the way to the Sorcerers (didn't beat them...i only had two lives left at that point, thanks to the Dungeon of Diverse and Deadly Diseases, a REALLY out-of-depth psyren in Daikara 0_0 , and that Berserker Orc boss...and I didn't realize how important blindness immunity would be) BUT...I still have no idea what the latter half of the game is really like. I don't even know whether my character build would have been viable in a Normal game (i'm sure it would be, but still...).
Anyway. I propose demoting the current "Exploration Mode", or whatever it's called, back to "Easy Mode", and adding a new Normal+Extra Lives option as "Exploration Mode". That's all.
