Renaming Alchemists

#1 Post by darkgod »

Hello

Somebody proposed to rename alchemists because they are not really alchemisting much, it's quite true, so .. what good name can you come up for them?

Maybe we could reuse Thaumaturgy ?

hmm... what about "imbuer"? or "animator"? transmuter as suggested above is nice as well.

It doesn't fit the character-concept, but my first thought on reading the char.-creation blurb was "hedge wizard".

I actually think Alchemist is the best name for their current skill set.

It is to a point. My initial suggestion was to rename them rather than replacing them if a more "standard alchemist" class is created as per suggestions in another thread, to avoid losing the current class altogether. If no other "alchemist" class is made, the name can stick, I suppose.
