A Little Love for Arena ?

I mostly enjoy Arena mode in ToME, and have really been itching for a little variety lately. This is a simple thought, but it would be really cool if there were alternate arena layouts. There could be a bigger stage, one with more or less cover, maybe one with some water terrain. I don't think that different arenas would need new enemy waves or features, but a couple alternate maps would add a lot. Honestly, it was very surprising that I haven't seen a mod to do this, but it seems like editing base modules is more complicated than inserting an add-on?

Agreed. Arena sucks, but it has potential as a good ground for build testing. An alt campaign arena addon, if not official support from DG, would be appreciated by myself and probably a good bit of the rest of the modding community.
