In base game, reduce EoR items/classes

Basically, having EoR dilutes your equipment pool, making it MUCH harder to find good gear.

Additionally, the gunners... on uniques and bosses (Insane), they're just killers.

You can just turn off EoR completely when creating a new character for the main campaign. You can then turn it on for other characters, because what DLCs and addons are loaded into the savegame is decided at character creation I think.

Will disabling the EoR DLC also disable any EoR-based Prodigies?

I remember back when I was still playing 1.5.x, I was missing one of the suggested Prodigies. Turned out that it was missing because I didn't have the EoR DLC at that time. :(

I'm guessing it does. Disabling a DLC should function as if you do not have the DLC on newly created characters.
