keeping stackable items separate`

Presently, there is no way i know of to keep stackable items separate in your inventory. Why would anyone care, you ask? I transferred Burning Star from an inactive character to my present favorite, but they already had one... I had to sell one of them, put the other back in the item vault and then buy the one back. Same concept goes for other artifact gems like Windborne Azorite.

I used one of three Windborne Azorite on Tirakai's Maul, tagged the other two "experiment" and put them in the item vault. Then, I changed my mind and used Goedelath Rock and tagged the one Windborne Azorite "works?" When I collected them all out of the items vault, the three were in one stack with the same tag on them. "works?" did not work.

So, I think there should be a free and easy way to separate stackable items.

Or at least remove stackable from artifact gems?
