Convenient Rod of Recall

It would be nice to have in main game an option, after adjusting Rod of Recall in fortress, to choose where you want to go, i.e. overworld or fortress. Because it's painful to go on overworld through fortress every use of Rod of Recall. I imagine it can be something like popup in t1 dungeons, which give you choice to stay/stroll.
