Amulets that give "combat speed"

I see people asking what this does very often, and am still not entirely sure myself, as there is no such speed listed on your character sheet, and none of those change when you equip such an amulet. Something needs to be done to make this more clear in game.

Combat speed decrease time required to perform attack with weapon / fist. Spells, steam powers, mind powers etc are not affected

Ok, on a bit of testing, it actually increases the "attack speed" listed on the character sheet. However when checking to see what talents use that speed, the talent box instead says "weapon speed', so the same stat has 3 different names in-game depending on what you are looking at.
