When I play a character with a shield, I'm usually focused on defence, meaning enemies are less likely to hit me. So when I try to use my shield to block damage and the enemy misses, I don't actually get any benefit. It feels like I wasted my turn. I think it would feel more satisfying if I was able to counter attack when an enemy missed me while my block talent was active.
Thanks.
edit: To clarify, I feel as though the purpose of block is to reward you for playing defensively for one turn. But if during that turn I succeed at being defensive and avoiding damage, I don't get any reward. So paradoxically in order to gain the advantage of the block talent, I have to allow the enemy to hit me.
Allow block to trigger counterattacks on enemy misses

Did you notice that your defense is set to 0 while blocking? If you're up against 20+ accuracy you will get hit.
