There should be some key or combination that centers the screen on the character, because this is something I often find myself needing to do.
Particularly for archmages, with all those "range 10" abilities, I often run into situations where I have to get back to my character.
Space bar, maybe. Or ctrl space bar or something.

If you hit capslock to enter free scroll mode, hitting numpad 5 will recenter the view on you.

I'd like to see a single key press (or combination) because it's such a trivial task. Right now I recenter using the map. I could do "Caplock, 5, caplock" but that's not much more of a convenience. And ease-of-use is the whole reason I'm suggesting this change.
Plus, it don't work for players without a numpad.

I did see a such a shortcut in the keyboard config of the 1.4 beta at least :p
