A New Master have arrived to the tower!(Necromancer DLC)

This idea came after defeating The Master after 140 hours.I played some necro's but while they are my type,awesome and dark for me it's not fun as Archmage or Bulwark.Why not? Be couse they are lacking anything other then making some base\tower\castle and making world under my rule (muhaha like a Overlord from Overlord game) Anyways when I beat the master I was hoping that if you are a Necromancer that you can use it as a base but when I look for that there was none Because of that I am writing my ideas (maybe pleas) for DLC

Now after this boring intro (and many grammar error's) we began to view idea's :idea: Ready for Awesomeness 8)

1-New Master of Old Tower

Now first of when a Necromancer beat The Master he can own the Tower and began our ''Mighty'' Quest .When we own the tower we can do our ''touch'' to the Tower.We can do that in the 10 Floor.10 Floor is for our throne and making change's in the tower among the other things like summoning some Skeletons to some floors of Tower or making contract with some vampire's or orc's (if you want with some rituals you can summon Vampire's to ) or making some rooms for Rituals (Like necromancer from Last Hope).even building more floors or warding Tower with wards like %?? weaker Hostile Humans (warding maybe thogh warding room with expansive use of gems,mana,and helpfull Skelaton Mages even sacrifice).Of course there 2-3 more rooms on the tower in my mind like storage(not like Item Vault) but I am lazy

2-Tower Management '' The Game''

Like The Master you will have some ''Visitors''.They come to you when you are worldwide ''popular''. From some lowly Thiefs to so called ''Mighty'' Heroes to the Rival Necros.Of course there some Real Visitors from Vampires or Orcs(Orcs maybe later) for alliance and not only them there some ''Friendly'' Necros for Alliance but they can stab you in the back if they sense that you are getting weaker like some Heroes manage to get so far in your tower like level 6 even manage to fight with you or a Pro Thief came and Steal from you or even if your experiment (like try to create some form of Bone Dragon and this means Research room for some ''Secret''Minions or Items like cloak from Undead beginnings) goes wrong. -,_,-

3-I chose you! (Man this part like reading a book of Necromancy :lol: )

Minions,minions and minions.From Half Complated Skeletons to Mighty Lich's of course if you are curious you can have (of course if you add the DLC) Bone Dragon's among the other secret minions if you have skill.Now if you want more then ''Classic'' minions you have many Options I am confident that there many Vampire's,Cursed or Doomed entitys even some Necros that defeated by ''Heroes'' that you can control or contract with them or even for somethings like saving them or help them for revenge from their target.Of course if you don't want any of them you can alyways use Ritual's for summon ''Dark'' entitys or Curse and Doom some Race and control them.

4- Ritual of Rituals

In all of my ideas I use word of Rituals but I didn't say what is it .Rituals from summoning minions to making powerfull ?tem's.If you are a master Ritualist you can even make Item's strong as Sher'Tul Item's or summon Lich's .Now in my mind there some levels in the Rituals level 1 to 5.

Level 1 Degreded Skeletons,Wh?te Items with Rare chance of Blue Items (You can think other's)

Level 2 Normal Skeletons with Rare Chance of Master Skeleton's and Ghauls with Rare Chance of Ghaul Kings - Blue Item's with Rare Chance of Purple (You can think other's)

Level 3 Master Skeletons,Ghaul Kings with Rare Chance of Vampire's and allkinds of Ghost's maybe even low level Horror's -Purple Items with Rare Chance of Yellow (You can think other's)

Level 4 Vampire's with Rare chance of Elder Vampires,Mid level Horror and Very Low Chance of Bone Gaint's,Lich's and Demons - Yellow Item's with Rare Chance of Orange Item's(You can think other's)

Level 5 Elder,Master Vampires,Lich's,Bone Gaint's,High Level Horror's,Demon's and Secret Minions- Orange ?tem's (You can think other's)

All rituals cost Gem's , higher level rituals cost more and Level 4-5 needs secrafice with some things that you can add.There can be Ritual only New item's that you can add and some special R?tual's that can only can be on Special Envent's (like solar eclipse DLC special envent)

5-You are a Warder Harry.(Dungeons of Dredmore style)

Warding If you can do it on your self that means that you can do to the tower with a Warding Room.You have army's of Skeletons and Ghauls,You have Vampire and Lich Commander's,You have ghost assasin's,You have Bone Beast's but all army's can't stop a meteor from sky or earthquake or a Group of Powerfull Paladin's banishmend from sky to your tower.THEY ARE HERE ! SPECIAL NECROMANCER ONLY ENVENTS and of course Warding of Your tower tutorial :shock:

Warding like Rituals,they need rooms,they need gems and most powerfull warding need secrafice like Rituals and of course they have levels in my idea.

Level 1-Small Protection Ward's All minions have %5 resistance to ''Element'' and Small Personal Wards(if you are in tower you get this and adds to your alredy here resistance's)%10 resistance to '' Element'' (You can add more)

Level 2-Medium Protection Wards All Minions have %15 resistance to ''Element'' and Medium Personal Wards %20 resistance to ''element'' and Anti-Meteor Ward (One use) (You can add more)

Level 3- High Pretection Wards All Minions have %25 resistance to ''Element'' and High Personal Ward's %35 resistance to ''element'' and Anti-Earthquake Ward (One Use) Anti-Banishment (One Use) (You san add more)

Level 4- Anti-Meteor,Earthquake and banishment Ward's (Four Use) No summon-teleport Wards(Enemy can not summon and teleport in tower) (You can add more)

Level 5 Permenent Anti-Meteor,Earthquake and Banishmend Wards,Anti-Paradox Ward (No timeline problems can happen like your past or future self can come and kill your or some Time Mages,Paradox mages can prison you and your tower in some time or diamension ) NO PASSIVE Ward (Enemy's passive ability's don't work in tower like a Cursed human's aura) All wards in this level need a secrafice or more. (You can add more)

Don't forget if level higher there will be higher need for gem's and other things will be need.Oh and Low-Mid-High wards can be actice at the same time like %5 resistance to fire resistance to fire %15 resistance to Darkness wards can be active at the same time or like %5 fire %15 fire %30 fire resistance can be one in the end total %50 resistance to fire .

6-With great Power comes with Greater Enemy's (Spider-Man Style)

OH NO WE MAKE A OVERPOWERED NECROMANCER.No that's not the case.While I don't know what to make with DLC story line but there can be many things can be added.From failed necromancer ritual place's to Bone Dragon's Lair that we can get the secret of making bone Dragon's (Thanks to failed control attempt of creator necromancer) to some Death God that survived from Sher'Tul want us to serve him to we Try to become Death God.Of course there can be Enemy necromancer's that have Castle's ,Base's,Lair's even like us Tower's.Don't forget the town's of Human's,Halfling's,Elves and We have problem of many and many Mages of Angolwen they are realy wan us dead because of we made magic hated even more.(Edit:Don't forget the Sun Paladin's and these Mood and Twilight mages)


Ohh man that was a long writing for me nearly 2 hour's at least I played all the songs of Voltaire anyways.

Please consider this as a DLC idea not a Update to game.While I left ''many'' parts uncomplated be cause I don't have time or sleep for complate them.And because I didn't complated the game
(I am Only 33 level and I am gonna go to East after this finished (Edit 2:I go there and that was awesome but I die at 41 level)I don't know all things like maybe there some Bone Dragons in east but I don't know but eh when I complate the game I update this idea

The idea is certainly interesting, but do you have anything for non-necromancers? We don't want to play favourites after all...

Other than that, some complaints with the ideas:
  • Shertul-level artifacts:
    • You'll never convince anyone to allow artifacts stronger than them. Sorry. It's just the way it is. :)
    Minions:
    • Horrors and Undead are like Steaks and Bananas. Not the same thing at all. A Necromancer controls Undead.

And for the Horor's yes I know that was a little to much but it was for ideas for ritual's in ritual's you didn't even need to control them you can summon them (or make invasion portal) and release them on town or enemy things for harrasing :P but that's it.

And for the Item's.Nearly Strong as Sher-Tul while I didn't finish the game I know that they are like Ancient's from Stargate they are stronges race but they are ''somehow'' die from something (Stargate Ancient's die from Plague)

Well for non-necros there can be some Ultra Master and his Master Death God for fighting :D Like Death God using Ultra Master as a Body on Mortal Plane.Or some crazy Necro try to make some form of Ultra Lich using 6-12 Lich's like a Bone Giant and at the end new ''Ultra'' Lich kill his creator and try to transform the Mortal world to Undead World.

And there can be class only story line's some exsample:
1-Mage's of Angolwen if they want they can try to stop the Necromancer's after The Master defeat.
2-Anti-Magic user's (I forget the name :D ) an try to stop the Necromancer's after The Master defeat in some cases thay can group up with mages (fight with Death God controlled Ultra Master :P ).
3-Time Mage's can try to beat some Necromancer's that try to go back in time and try to rise some Undead Empire before other Race's can build their Empire but only 1 year after Spellblaze they can go back.(This will be piss of the Time mages be couse this cause A HUGE paradox)
4-There can be some NecroSlayer class that will fight completely Necromancer's finaly Dead God (Other race's will not be fight with Dead God himself they will only Fight Dead God controled Ultra Master)

This sounds like an entirely new game style (like arena/infinite dungeon/etc, but a bit more extreme) rather than an easy attachment to existing characters. You'd basically be using the te4 backbone to build a game in the style of Dungeon Keeper. That's honestly a really cool thought, though it sounds like a whole lot of work.

If it doesn't get picked up as a DLC and you wanted to start trying to code it up as a mod, that sounds awesome, though I do have a bit of advice. Experience suggests that mods that start relatively small, release in playable format, and then upgrade incrementally do a fair bit better than those that are built grand in scope from the ground up. Maybe start out as a single-map "necromancer's hut" where you're just some necromancer out in the middle of nowhere that keeps getting hassled by the neighbors (who you then must kill). Then you can add the appropriate widgets on to that piece by piece, until you have the whole experience. I'd also think that if you were going to do this, and make it necromancer-specific, then making your summons actually run off of enemy corpses (with the quality of the enemy being part of what determines the quality of the corpse could be cool, too.

While I like to make the mod (or game if you look that way) myself I have don't have the skill that needed or time but if I ever look deeply to coding I will try.Be cause of that if anybody that want work with idea can work with idea but Please PM me and don't stop on half way.

StarKeep made a "Tower Defense" addon which is vaguely similar to this, maybe.

Anyone planning to make this as an addon might want to look at that.
