achievement: kill the Eidolon

AFAIK (please correct me if this is wrong) it is currently impossible to attack the Eidolon, even if you try. Right?

Suppose it were possible. And suppose that it were possible for a really overpowered character to actually win this fight, even if it is harder than beating Atamathon..

I guess that the logical consequence would normally be that you die. After all, only the Eidolon had the power to resurrect you, so you've shot yourself in the foot. This should probably be just another road to the "utterly destroyed" achievement.

Except.. if you had a Blood of Life charge left to resurrect anyway. Then you could actually kill the Eidolon and live to tell it.

I suggested something way back that could be added to the ID would be the chance to fight the eidolon. (Y'know, when you're level 583 or something.) What more suitable end could there be to infiinity, then slaying a being from beyond the realms of existence?

Of course, first we have to add a god in the ID at the end for us to fight, and possibly a sher'tul to go with it, and after beating *THEM* you can start finding special vaults with ritual circles where you can kill yourself to enter the Eidolon plane (no adventurer live shenanigans required, even roguelike players) and have your one shot at toppling something greater then a god.

Yes, so much potential to exploit in ID
