Visual effects for stun and counter
Such as stars around head (i.e. upper part of sprite) and colored outline, respectively.
Re: Visual effects for stun and counter
My characters often look like balls of visual effects already. On enemies, at least, it would be appreciated. It gets so tedious trying to mouse over enemies before making tactical decisions about bump attacks and such that I just don't bother unless things get tough.
So I say yes to enemies, no to PCs. We already have a changing display on the right that tells you what negative effects are active at a glance.

Having some sort of screen change thing for stun (like the red for when you're injured or the blurriness from confusion) would be good though, I think. There have been several times where I've been like, "Huh why isn't this guy dead yet. Oh, I'm stunned." With Confusion, I know in an instant that I've been messed with.
Or I'd hit a talent button, hit the directional arrows to move the targeting, and actually move because it went on cooldown from a stun, or whatever. Not that it couldn't be solved by just, ya know, paying more attention, but it'd be helpful.
