I kinda dislike that the name 'arcade blade' doesn't have any gameplay effect, arcane blades have no reason to prefer a blade over a blunt weapon.
I have a little idea how to change that:
1) Add a secondary effect to arcane combat, to make it work as weapon mastery for swords and daggers... As far as I know weapon can have several masteries and the highest will be used... Strength requirements should be raised to match other mastery talents
2) Make arcane combat to trigger only on hit with with blades, nerfing all that shield users, staff users and flexible combat prodigy users
3) Replace dual techniques with dual weapons, to not make sword + dagger + flurry little to powerful
4) Maybe give arcane blades conditioning or mobility to give a new use for the generic points
Encourage Arcane blades to use blades
