There are presently many addons and I have installed several of them. The problem is that depending on the way the addons are designed, different addons may replace the same file that leads to instability an/or incorrect behavior.
It would be interesting to have a warning at the start of a game if this situation happens. Of course, not all the potentially problematic situations can be catched. But some conflicts are easy to catch and it would nice to have a warning saying something like "warning: addons a et B both redefine /foo/bar.lua".

Re: Warning for conflicting addons
Even that could be misleading.
Two of my addons overload the same function. But I've got it setup to work fine anyway.

My feedback meter decays into coding. Give me feedback and I make mods.

This would actually be a great idea. Maybe not as a pop up box, but DEFINITELY in the game log! If it doesn't already do something similar to this, then that is an oversight.
