I've got ToME on my Windows desktop and my Linux netbook. Until ToME gets Greenlighted on Steam and acquires Steam Workshop, we have to update each installation and addons separately.
However, there is no function to transfer characters between platforms aside from manually copying the folders. With the current online profile/character vault setup (which already shares unlocks across platforms), how feasible is it to share the entire character and visited zone info?

It'd be easy execpt that:
- saves takes a lot of disk space => needs a lot of bandswidth
- saves takes a lot of disk space => needs lots of space on my server

[tome] joylove: You can't just release an expansion like one would release a Kraken XD
