These are just a few things I'd like to see:
-Rogue traps autotarget 1 space away toward monster instead of the monster (which is out of range for the skill).
-weapon switch should switch hotkeys. Could make it automatically go to one of the other hotkey pages but you'd need to allow mapping skills more than once.
-clicking hotkeys should center mouse on player or on a target if you want to do that. As it is, when you click one it targets the bottom of the screen and starts scrolling.
-GUI blocks your view. Should just let screen scroll further so things don't get hidden behind the map/vitals.
-monsters in vaults not being active until the vault is opened. I had 30 level higher 'summons' (the shadowy ones that teleport around) appearing outside a vault.
-light sources are extremely short, I'd personally increase all of them by 1 or 2. It helps the autoexplore also. I realize this is tied to monsters detecting you; that's unfortunate. Using stealth though and seeing one space away seems a terrible idea in all cases.

Some non-combat abilities, like digging with a pick, could also use this treatment. I think the better default would be to just auto-target the player. Also, I think it would be sensible (if not too annoying) to disallow placing traps directly underneath enemies. Or maybe at trapping level 3 you can place traps underneath enemies, and at level 5 traps will activate if placed directly underneath enemies. Could certainly be useful for Temporal Wardens, but I can't think of many other classes that would benefit from this too much. I personally would probably never use it, since there are lots of abilities I'd need to bind twice and would likely forget about.cyrn wrote:-weapon switch should switch hotkeys. For weapon switch I was thinking of ranged/melee. Or just having different keys bindable to shoot and reload would be nice.
