Higher minimums on inscriptions

#1 Post by Grey »

No inscriptions in the real world should have lower stats than the sort you start the game with. In particular range 5 phase door runes and 50 points shield runes are immensely frustrating to find (especially when the stores seem to be full of them)

So should they be slightly rarer but more likely to be useful?

A good shield rune for undead is already rare enough :/

Yeah, 60 power heal and regen are worthless in the game.

By the same token 60 power attack runes are never of use.

If the starting shielding rune is 100, shouldn't the starting regen be 100 too, btw?

I'd say no, since they operate very differently, and a 60 regen is probably better than a 100 shield if that's all you have.

God the 50-point shielding runes. I've found many of those in Dreadfell.
Sorry about all the parentheses (sometimes I like to clarify things).
